Chris Macksey Appointed to Intuit Accountants Council

Chris will be 1 of 18 Accountants heading to Intuit’s corporate headquarters to help Intuit develop new products and services for accounting professionals

Select Panel Advises on Products and Services that Accountants and Their Clients Want Most

WILLIAMSTOWN, Massachusetts  – June 31, 2018 – Chris Macksey has been named to Intuit Inc.’s (Nasdaq: INTU) Accountant Council. Intuit’s mission is to power prosperity around the world, and it accomplishes this through its innovative ecosystem of financial management solutions that serve more than 46 million accounting professionals, small businesses and consumers worldwide. This year, for the first time, Accountant Council members in the U.S. and Canada will meet at Intuit’s headquarters in Mountain View, CA to discuss the needs of accountants, small businesses, the self-employed and developers across North America.

A Business Advisor and Accountant at Prix Fixe Accounting, Macksey is one of 26 council members – 18 from the U.S. and eight from Canada – who will share their insights, experience and expertise to help Intuit develop new products and services for accounting professionals and small businesses worldwide. Chris’ diverse background in hospitality, information technology and accounting brings a wealth of interdisciplinary skills to Custom Business Solutions.

Intuit’s Accountant Council meets periodically at Intuit’s Silicon Valley headquarters to get an inside look at the company’s strategy and product development. Members participate for up to two years, sharing their thoughts and insights on critical accountant and small business tools.
