How much is the cost of food going to rise?

The cost of food is expected to continue to rise, but not quite at the rate of 2022. The USDA stated that last year, the cost of food rose a staggering 11.7%, this year, they expect it to rise 7.1%. The long term expectations are that food cost will continue to have higher than normal inflation, but at a smaller amounts over the coming years.

This isn’t going away soon, which is why costing a menu is so important.
